Following the announcement made in March that Nico Rosberg winned the Lorenzo Bandini Trophy for great achievements of the 2010 F1 season, the MERCEDES GP PETRONAS driver received the prize during the official ceremony organized on Sunday in the Italian town of Brisighella. Nico arrived in style at the special event, driving a Mercedes-Benz C 63 AMG DTM racing car. He expressed himself as very honoured to have been awarded the prestigious trophy, because it is a powerful symbol of the racer's character, attitude and approach towards the sport activity he is involved in. Apart from Rosberg, other famous motorsport drivers, such as Michael Schumacher, Jenson Button, Jacques Villeneuve and Lewis Hamilton, have won the 'Trofeo Lorenzo Bandini' since 1992, when it was first introduced to mark the 25th commemoration of the tragic death of Lorenzo Bandini in a terrible crash amid the 1967 Monaco Formula 1 Grand Prix.
