SPY - 2010 Mercedes-Benz S-Klasse Coupe
In the latest series of spy shots featuring the forthcoming S-Klasse Coupe, photographers have also concentrated on revealing key design details, such as the headlights, the radiator grille or the rear lights.
Mercedes-Benz continues the winter testing for its new S-Klasse Coupe in Scandinavia. Practically uncamouflaged, the soon-to-be-revealed flagship coupe will boast important updates:
- the front fascia will receive LED headlights and LED projectors mounted on the front bumper, a redesigned air intake and a new, 2-louvre radiator grille
- on the sides of the car, new exterior mirrors, borrowed from the S-Klasse Limousine, as well as new, more appealing rims
- the tail lights will also feature LEDs;the marche-arriere light signals have appearantly moved onto the trunk lik, on the right and left side of the licence plate;the new S-Klasse Coupe will also sport new exhaust pipes
- a new steering wheel and refined materials for personalizing the dashboard and the interior
- the latest and most advanced assistance technologies from Mercedes-Benz will also be found on the upcoming S-Klasse Coupe
- expect completely new V6 and V8 engines, which promise greater efficiency without any performance compromise;the new S 500 Coupe will be powered by a 4.6 litres V8, delivering 435 HP, whereas the V12 unit the hood of the S 600 Coupe will continue to offer 517 HP;the new S 63 AMG Coupe will be one of the first Mercedes-Benz models in the AMG portfolio to use the new 5.5 litres twin-turbo V8, developing 544 HP.
- official information on the new Mercedes-Benz S-Klasse Coupe will be issued in the coming months, while the premiere takes place in the Autumn, at the Mondial de l'Automobile in Paris
