The spy saga continues, as photographers have managed to grab the first images of what appears to be a prototype destined to the 2013 GL-Klasse. Although largely camouflaged, the next-generation of this big SUV will retain its current solid, boxy shape. Probably, we'll witness another design evolution process: nothing radical, just a slight refreshment of the successful car we have today. The new GL is expected to grow a bit in size, without affecting the frequently-demonstrated offroad capabilities. In terms of interior styling, the German SUV will borrow quite a lot from the new M-Klasse, even if a larger dose of individuality would be better. The strong point inside will be the possibility of carrying up to seven passengers, in a complete comfort and luxury atmosphere. A new range of powerfully efficient engines will also be available when the second generation GL-Klasse goes on sale at the end of 2012/1st quarter of 2013.
