The new Mercedes-Benz CLS-Klasse (C 218) has been officially introduced to selected journalists at a special media event held today at Sindelfingen. Orders for the new car can be handed in beginning with the 15th of September; the engine lineup and the preliminary price list is the one posted below:
- CLS 250 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY, 204 BHP/500 Nm(beginning with March 2011) - 59857 Euro
- CLS 350 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY, 265 BHP/620 Nm(beginning with January 2011) - 63427 Euro
- CLS 350 CDI 4MATIC BlueEFFICIENCY, 265 BHP/620 Nm
- CLS 350 CGI BlueEFFICIENCY, 306 BHP/370 Nm(beginning with January 2011) - 64260 Euro
- CLS 500 BlueEFFICIENCY, 435 BHP/700 Nm(beginning with March 2011)
- CLS 500 4MATIC BlueEFFICIENCY, 435 BHP/700 Nm
- CLS 63 AMG, 544 BHP/800 Nm(571 BHP/900 Nm with the Performance Package)
A webspecial for the new CLS is also currently in development at https://specials.mercedes-benz.de/cls/ (at the moment, it functions solely as a brochure-ordering application).
