Early Look: The new C 63 AMG Coupe Black Series scooped at the Paul Ricard track

Prior to the anticipated unveiling at Nurburgring in a fortnight, a juicy, red-coloured C 63 AMG Coupe Black Series has been recently photographed while waiting in the garage before going for a special run on the Circuit Paul Ricard in France. This motorsport site is frequently used by the Affalterbach tuner to either organize a photo shooting for a new model or a media test drive. Talking about numbers, the new Black Series model is powered by the 6.2-litre V8 which was upgraded to deliver a peak output of 517 bhp and an impressive high-end torque of 640 Nm. Given the overall weight loss of around 20-30 kilos and the technical performance of the engine mated with the AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT-7 automatic gearbox, this hardcore C 63 AMG Coupe should do 0-100 km/h in 4 - 4.5 seconds and reach a maximum speed of 280 km/h - 300 km/h, if the electronically-governed 250 km/h limit is removed.
