Mercedes-Benz does not seen to be bothered or affected by the global warming or the glacier meltdown. Not at all, if you learn about the fact that the new ML 63 AMG will show up later in 2011, at the IAA Frankfurt in September, and it will be powered by the 5.5 liters biturbo V8 unit. The maximum output is tipped to reach 571 hp with the help of the Performance Pack; otherwise, the muscular SUV should boast "just" 544 ponnies. While it may seem rather childish to talk about the eco-friendliness of the unit screaming under the engine hood, one thing's certain, at least for the AMG fans: the fuel consumption and CO2 emmision numbers showcased by the mighty V8 will reach unprecented levels thanks to consistent technologycal measures. To ensure best performance figures, the impressive power will be sent to all four wheels thanks to the AMG-engineered MCT SPEEDSHIFT gearbox. Seeing the juicy technical package of the new ML 63 AMG, we are sure the visual enhancements will equal it. Even though largely camouflaged, the ferocious stance shaping up nicely under the black tape of the test prototype looks more than promising. And inside, that dashboard is simply delicious - top quality, top design. We can barely wait to see more!
