BREAKING NEWS: Jenson Button, victim of an assault in Sao Paulo yesterday

Journalists reported that Jenson Button was involved in a gun attack yesterday, while he was being driven to his hotel located in the suburbs of Sao Paulo. According to eyewitnesses, the McLaren-Mercedes driver was inside a Mercedes-Benz bullet-proof limousine with his staff when a group of burglars started to shoot towards the car, attempting to rob them. The driver kept his wits about it and managed to escape the terrifying and potentially deadly event by smashing into other five cars and literally flying over them after. Luckily, everyone escaped safe and sound and Jenson Button, quoted by WorldCarFans, said after the incident: "My driver was a legend. He bounced off about five cars. We were driving over the top of them. It was very scary.". After such a bad day, with a poor qualifying and surviving a nightmare situation, the Briton also admitted that he is practically out of the 2010 F1 champion title race: "It's pretty difficult when you're so far behind, so if Lewis gets a good start in I'm not going to be able to help in that way.".
