OFFICIAL PRESS RELEASE
Woking, United Kingdom, Nov 22, 2010
The McLaren Group is today delighted to announce a new multi-year partnership with the ISS Group, one of the world’s leading facilities services companies.
Headquartered in Copenhagen, Denmark, and employing over 500,000 staff across more than 50 countries in Europe, Asia and North and South America, the ISS Group is one of the world’s largest private employers and a leading player in the facilities management sector.
The partnership will see the ISS Group supplying a range of services to the McLaren Technology Centre, the McLaren Group’s state-of-the-art headquarters in Woking, Surrey.
Henrik Andersen, CEO, ISS UK said: “McLaren has earned a global reputation for its pursuit of excellence and focus on results, but it stands for much more than this. Its victories are often measured by small margins, which require innovation, total focus and unparalleled teamwork. We approach supporting our clients with the same philosophy. Our role will be much more than maintaining an iconic building, it will be to provide the optimum environment for the McLaren Group to continue its pioneering and innovative work. Our success is down to having and developing the best team.”
“We are delighted to have agreed this exciting partnership with ISS Group,” said McLaren Group CEO Martin Whitmarsh. “Both our companies have a shared desire to set the very highest of standards within our specialist fields, and this deal will enable us both to reach even greater levels of achievement.
“Since its completion in 2004, the McLaren Technology Centre has continued to earn praise and plaudits for its innovative design, construction and upkeep. Now, with ISS Group’s input and assistance, the building will continue to stand as a global showcase for both companies’ values.”
