Spy photographers have recently snapped shots of an interesting-looking C 63 AMG Limousine prototype. They came across it most probably in Affalterbach, where all the latest Mercedes-Benz sports cars are born. This test mule was fitted with slightly extended wheel fenders, as well as some wires hidden under duck tape (that probably belong to the measuring instruments), which might mean engineers are developing the much-awaited Black Series variant for this model. Apart from these minor changes of the normal look, the car sported the usual pre-facelift fascia. If we are to believe the rumors, then the future C 63 AMG Black Series could be revealed some time in 2011, after the revamped C-Klasse lineup is premiered either at Detroit or at Geneva. The new ultraspicy version of the mid-premium limousine is bound to make use of a modified variant of the 6.2 liters naturally-aspirated V8 engine, that could deliver well over 480 hp of peak output (we suggest around 500 hp). Power will be transferred to the rear wheels thanks to the clever AMG MCT SPEEDSHIFT gearbox.
P.S.: Fans all over the internet suggested that a C 63 AMG Black Series Coupe would be even hotter and juicier. We completely agree with them. Mercedes-AMG, what do you think about this idea? :D
