This was a great fun event during the Cold War Jet Show at Bruntingthorpe, Wow!!! that Lamborghini LP640 looks and sounds beautiful. The prototype flew in 1948. Go look up a F9F panther or a an F56 Sabre or an F-84 thuderstreak if you want to know what was comparible with it. The Hunter was far sleeker looking and it’s performance was way superior. It is still in service with some middle east countries too – over 50 years after it was introduced, it was, and remains one of the greatest jet fighters of all time.
