SPY - First inside photos of the 2012 Mercedes-Benz B-Klasse + more captures and a new computer-based illustration
The most recent set of spy shots featuring the 2012 generation of the B-Klasse reveal the dashboard and rear seat area of this MPV for the first time.
The lines will basically come from the latest creations of the Stuttgart-based constructor and will mainly be dominated by angular styling cues and solid-looking surfaces. The steering wheel will be borrowed from the W 212;the instrument cluster will be resemblant to those seen on models such as the C-, GLK- or E-Klasse, whereas the upper section of the center console where the COMAND display sits will be inspired by the dashboard showcased on the Concept Shooting Break prototype, bordered at the bottom by big air vents. The digital unit will come straight from the E-Klasse, while the air conditioning panel seems to be a completely new one. Access to the rear seats will likely be reasonable for small and medium-height persons, but it could turn out to be a little bit uncomfortable for over 1,80-1,85 m tall people due to the sloping roof. What's for sure: once inside, everyone will appreciate the high level of wellness and luxury, as well as the generous space offered for each and every of them.
