F1 Sao Paulo - More Sunday Photos (MGP)

The penultimate race of the 2010 Formula 1 Season, the Brazilian Grand Prix, was an exciting stage for every team involved in the motorsporting action. The harsh battle for winning the World Champion Driver title between the three main contenders delivered a lot of track adrenaline last Sunday on the José Carlos Pace Circuit (former Interlagos) from Sao Paulo. Starting the race from 13th, everybody expected it would be a tough challenge for Nico Rosberg to go up some positions, given the technical package of the MGP W 01 car and the conditions. But the good pitstop strategy meant the German had stopped for new tyres at the right time, even though he had to do an extra third one due to a poorly fastened wheel nut. In the end, the son of former champion Keke Rosberg finished the race on 6th. Michael Schumacher started from 8th, but he couldn't build up on this advantage due to his quite early pit stops, which got him stuck behind slower drivers. He crossed the finish line 7th, after letting his team mate pass him, as Nico was on fresh rubber and stood a higher chance of overtaking McLaren's Jenson Button on 5th.
